PM Narendra Modi Receives Norway’s Highest Civilian Honour in Oslo

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with Norway’s highest civilian award, the “Grand Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit,” during his visit to Oslo. The prestigious honour was awarded in recognition of his contribution towards strengthening bilateral relations and global cooperation between Bharat and Norway.

The award highlights the growing friendship, mutual trust and cooperation between the two nations across sectors including trade, sustainability, innovation and diplomacy. The honour was presented during an official ceremony attended by dignitaries and officials.

With this recognition, Narendra Modi has now received 32 international honours from countries around the world, further highlighting Bharat’s growing global presence and diplomatic influence under his leadership. The award ceremony also symbolized the deepening ties and strategic partnership between Bharat and Norway.
