PM Narendra Modi Conferred with Sweden’s ‘Royal Order of the Polar Star’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with Sweden’s prestigious ‘Royal Order of the Polar Star, Degree Commander Grand Cross,’ one of the highest honours awarded by the Scandinavian nation. The award was presented in recognition of his exceptional leadership and contribution towards strengthening Bharat-Sweden relations.

Reacting to the honour, PM Modi stated that the recognition is not just for him personally, but for the 140 crore people of Bharat. He dedicated the award to the citizens of the nation and highlighted the strong friendship and growing cooperation between Bharat and Sweden.

With this recognition, Narendra Modi has now received 31 international honours from various countries across the world, making him one of the most internationally honoured leaders of Bharat.
