Delampady Celebrates 42nd Annual Shri Ganeshotsava: “Youth Must Become the Protectors of Sanatana Culture” – Muliya Sathwik

The 42nd annual Saarvajanika Shri Ganeshotsava, organised by the Saarvajanika Shri Ganeshotsava Samiti (R.), Delampady, was held with devotion and enthusiasm on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Shri Ram Bhajana Mandir, Delampady. The assembly programme, held from 2 PM, was presided over by Shri Manohar Bandyadaka, President of the Saarvajanika Shri Ganeshotsava Samiti, Delampady. Devotees, local residents and members of the public participated in the celebrations.

Delivering the religious speech on the occasion, Shri Muliya Sathwik, President of the ABVP-supported All College Students Union, Mangalore Division, highlighted the spiritual and cultural significance of Lord Ganesha and the importance of preserving Sanatana traditions among the younger generation. He called upon the youth to understand their cultural and religious roots and take responsibility for carrying the values and traditions of Sanatana Dharma forward to future generations. He emphasised that young people have an important role in preserving cultural identity while contributing positively to society.

The programme also featured the felicitation of Shri U. B. Srinilaya Bellippadi, Founder Member of the Saarvajanika Shri Ganeshotsava Samiti, Delampady. Shri Jagadish Rai Maniyur distributed the prizes, while Shri Ishwara Gowda Kuttimunda, President of Sri Rama Bhajana Mandira, Delampady, was present as an honorary guest. The 42nd annual Ganeshotsava brought together devotion, tradition, cultural values and community participation, making the celebration a meaningful occasion for the people of Delampady.
